KSENIA GAVRILOVA

Ksenia Gavrilova Ksenia Gavrilova is a pianist and the winner of a number of international competitions.

Ksenia Gavrilova was born in 1986. In 2002, she graduated from the Saint Petersburg Okhta Centre of Esthetic Education (class under the direction of I.I. Lobikova). In 2007, she graduated from the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Conservatory (class under the direction of E.A. Murina). Ksenia is currently a postgraduate at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory (class under the direction of S.A. Uryvaeva).

While studying at school, Ksenia received a scholarship from the Saint Petersburg Committee of Culture.

She has performed in many towns and cities in Russia, Germany, Finland, France, Holland, both as a soloist and in various chamber ensembles. She participated in the workshops International Academy of Music (Saint Petersburg, 2001), and International Summer Academy for Chamber Music Lower Saxony (Germany, Frenswegen, 2004, 2005).

Ksenia has participated in a number of competitions, in which she has won:
The Blue Bird International Competition (Ukraine, Simferopol, 2000);
V.V. Sofronitsky Competition Festival (Saint Petersburg, 2001);
Competition Festival of the Music of S.V. Rachmaninoff (Saint Petersburg, 2001);
M.V. Yudina International Competitions (Saint Petersburg, 2001, 2003, 2007,2008);
International Competition 'Expectations, Talents, Masters' (Bulgaria, Albena, 2002);
International Competition 'Nova Musica' (Latvia, Daugavpils, 2003);
Winner and Special Prize from the Jury of the International Competition of Violin and Piano Duets in Lyons (France, 2007).

Ksenia took part in many festivals, including the XII International Festival 'Musical Olympus' (Saint Petersburg, 2007), the International Festival 'The Time of Music: fin de siecle' (Saint Petersburg, 2007, 2008), the Bromsgrove Festival (Great Britain, 2005), and others.
