Alexandra Korobkina is a violinist and the winner of a number of international competitions.

She was born in 1987 and graduated in 2005 from a special secondary musical school at the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Conservatory (class under the direction of S.M. Schalman).She received a scholarship from the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Society and is currently a student at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory (class under the direction of I.V. Ioff). In addition, she has participated in a number of workshops led by I. Oistrakh, E. Grach, Z. Bron, R. Totenberg, R. Khilier, R. Sushanskaya, D. Schwarzberg, B. Kushnir, W. Marschner, H. Baerle, and K. Honda- Rosenberg.

She has won numerous competitions, including:
First Prize at the Open Competition of Young Performers (Saint Petersburg, 1997);
First Prize at the Russia-wide Competition: Young Assembly of the Arts (Moscow, 1999);
Winner of the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition for Young Violinists (France, 2002);
Winner and Special Prize from the Jury of the International Competition of Violin and Piano Duets in Lyons (France, 2007);
First Prize at the Maria Yudina International Chamber Music Competition (Saint Petersburg, 2008).

Alexandra has performed numerous concerts in Russia and abroad, including, in Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Spain, France, Poland, Austria, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. She has performed with the Academic Symphonic Orchestra of the D. Shostakovich Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Hall, the State Hermitage Orchestra, the Symphonic Orchestra of the Philharmonic Society of Saint Petersburg, the Weimar Symphonic Orchestra, and in many other Russian and foreign orchestras.

Alexandra has taken part in a number of festivals, including the Copenhagen Summer Festival (Denmark, 2006), the 12th International Festival 'Musical Olympus' (Saint Petersburg, 2007), the International Festival 'The Time of Music: fin de siecle' (Saint Petersburg, 2007/2008), and the International Festival Musical Collection (Saint Petersburg, 2008).
